Revision history:
This is a software issue in the belt-driven starter-alternator control unit (diagnostic address 00CC). Expected in week 48/2025 There is no reason to replace parts (belt-driven starter-alternator) as this could lead to repeat complaints. The event memory entry must be ignored for the time being as it has no effect on the customer or the vehicle, aside from the message in the instrument cluster. This means that if the energy systems (after waiting for a bus sleep cycle to finish, for example) work again and the belt-driven starter-alternator charges the battery, the vehicle can initially be returned to the customer. A software solution is currently under development and is not expected to be available before the end of Q3 2025. Please postpone the repair with parts replacement until then as there is currently no effective repair for the complaint described by the customer. If DISS is used in your market.
